Beards & Beers: Where the Bearded Community Shows Up
Men are great at many things, but community is not usually one of them—the beard community is no exception. Here at Geaux Bearded, we want to help men grow, both themselves and their beards. We all have more than enough on our plates, but… there’s something special about slowing down for a couple of hours in the middle of the week.
No rush. No agenda crazier than your beard first thing in the morning. Just good people, good conversation, and a cold beer in hand.
That’s exactly what Beards and Beers is all about.
Beard Community for Bearded Brothers
If you follow us on Facebook, you probably know that every few months, we call the bearded brothers together at Rally Cap Brewing right here in Baton Rouge to hang out. No stages. No speeches. No pressure. Just community.
At Geaux Bearded, we believe that growing a beard is about more than hair on your face. It’s about patience. Persistence. Consistency. Showing up for yourself and the people around you. Beards and Beers is one way we realize this belief.
You walk in, grab a beer brewed by the good folks at Rally Cap, and immediately realize you’re among your own. Beards of every length and stage. Some guys have been growing for years. Some still aren’t sure what beard oil even does. Some with beard aspirations… Everyone is welcome. No gatekeeping. No judgment.
Most of us spend our days juggling work, family, responsibilities, and the constant noise of life. Beards and Beers is a chance to put all that down for a bit and, maybe, step out of our comfort zones. To talk beards, sure, but also life. Business ideas. Adventures had. Upcoming events. What’s working, what’s not, and what’s worth chasing next.
Beard Bonuses
No guarantees, but I’ll let you in on a little secret. We usually bring along some giveaways because who doesn’t like free gear? Beard products, merch, maybe a surprise or two.
But the real value isn’t what you take home in a bag. It’s the conversations you didn’t know you needed. The connections that start over a pint and turn into friendships, collaborations, or just a reminder that you’re not doing this alone.
These nights are also where we talk about what’s coming up in the beard community and around Baton Rouge. Whether it’s a volunteer opportunity or a 5K, we encourage each other to get involved. Opportunities to show up and support each other. Geaux Bearded has always been about building something bigger than ourselves, and this is one of the ways we don’t stay plateaued. But let's be honest. Sometimes you need others in the beard community to give you a little push.
Rally Cap Brewing is the perfect setting. Local. Welcoming. Unpretentious. The kind of place where you can pull up a chair, relax, and stay awhile. It matches the spirit of Beards and Beers perfectly.
You’re invited to Join this Beard Community
You don’t need to be a longtime Geaux Bearded customer. You don’t need the fullest beard in the room. You don’t need to know anyone when you walk in. Just show up as you are. That’s enough.
If you’ve been following Geaux Bearded from afar, this is your invitation to step into the circle. Join our beard community, the bearded brotherhood. If you’ve been to one before, you already know the deal. And if you’re somewhere in between, consider this your nudge.
So when the next Beards and Beers rolls around, don’t overthink it.
Show up.
Grab a beer.
Bring a bearded brother.
We’ll be there, growing together, and encourage each other to grab life by the beard!
